Craft Revival VIII- Spring Edition

It’s one of my favourite events of the year! Painted as the biggest craft market in Northwestern Ontario, the 8th Annual Craft Revival returns to the Waterfront District in Thunder Bay on Sunday, May 6th. Thanks to Shaw TV Thunder Bay for handing me the mic to showcase this feature with event founder and coordinator, Maelyn Hurley.  Over 140 artisans will participate in the event that is expected to attract close to 3000 people to Thunder Bay’s downtown. Craft Revival is taking place at 15 local businesses, that not only showcases works of art (from paintings, to clothing, jewelry, home decor, wood working, food), but also performers at each location.

I make a day of it, with brunch (and mimosas), friends and shopping. It’s the most perfect Sunday! The amount of local talent is this city is simply amazing and this event truly revives the love for art and crafting in Thunder Bay.
